Myself and a handful of other great artists just finished participating in Kafka’s “Spring Break” themed group exhibit. The show lasted a month and a half and was a collection of illustration, collage, painting, and…giant popsicles. This popsicle took me about 8 hours to construct when everything was all said and done…it was a fun piece and I think it may have led to a solo show towards the fall, I’ll make sure to post those details later.
This video is about 2 steps away from being naseau inducing but is so damn mesmerizing it’s hard to stop watching. Great song and great new album by Mint Julep - Save Your Season.

Lindsay and I recently submitted pieces to the “Bill You Murray Me?” Show at the Fall Gallery. The show is this evening but the work will stay up for the next few weeks. If you have a few extra bucks and want to buy a piece for the house or if you just happen to be a BIll Murray fan, come and check out the work, it’s bound to be amazing.

Finally watched Girl With The Dragon Tattoo last night and was blown away. Another great film by David Fincher. Blur’s opening credits set this movie off for me and was a great transition into what I hope turns into an amazing trilogy of movies. There’s a short article over on Motionographer where they walk through Blur’s process and how they approached the sequence with Fincher. A good read.
These are a set of stand-offs I ordered in for a signage project i’m working on with Madeline Koeberling. She’s designing the signage and i’m designing the mounting options. We thought we’d mock up a quick sign to see if the stand-offs could hold the weight and size of signage. So far, so good.
This is a piece i’m working up for the “Bill You Murray Me?” show at The Fall Gallery. I haven’t really done much work with pencil crayons before so this is a bit of a fun experiment.
